Blair and Chris found me through one of my wonderful couples from last year, Anya and Chris, and since we have grown to know one another over the year, we found out that we have mutual close friends (including Megan and Danielle of Soiree event design). At our engagement session, I learned that they are both madly intelligent and seriously goofy. They don’t take themselves too seriously and they are so much fun to be around. They wanted their wedding to be a really fun party for all of their friends and family- and it was. Take a look at some of my favorite frames from the day…

I love integrating people’s homes into pictures of them; Our homes are such a big part of our lives. Here they are seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, standing in the back yard of their first house. Years from now this picture might even be more sentimental than ones during the ceremony. Remembering an old house is like remembering an old friend

A little comic relief from dad right before walking down the aisle

Blair and Chris should be thrilled!
Wonderful! What a lovely bride, handsome groom, and lovely wedding. And I am perfectly objective.
Okay, I can make no comments about your technical composition…just to say I really like the one that shows the whole wedding ceremony happening and the clouds look like they are swooping in and you can see the beautiful grounds and tower…fabulously dramatic!
I love when you shoot weddings of people I know. It’s just like I was there to see it all myself!
Blair and Chris, we had to miss your special day, so it was wonderful to get a sneak peek through these photos. A beautiful bride, a handsome groom and a very cheerful event. Best Wishes, Mary Sue and Charlie
