Leah and Jacob

I had a long 4 1/2 month hiatus from shooting weddings when I was pregnant with Charlotte and in her first weeks of life.  I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding to kick off my new season than Leah and Jacob’s.

Secretly, I had asked Tyler a while ago to be available on this date, since it was a short time after my due date- I didn’t want to take any chances in case there were any unexpected complications.  So Leah and Jacob had the bonus of three photographers! (you will see several of my favorites from the day are Tyler’s- he really hit a few homeruns)

Leah and Jacob- you guys have been so great to know, and I loved seeing you love your friends and family so well by treating them to such a fun day full of laughter, fun- such great entertainment.  We truly had a blast shooting!  Thank you for having us!

Tyler hopped in as the guys hit the liquor store before the wedding…

Leah is very close with her mom.  They shared sweet time together right before mom walked her down the aisle

As a surprise to their wedding party, Leah and Jacob treated them all to an aftrenoon of food, drinks, and bowling at Lucky Strike downtown.

the next shot is a perfect example of the advantage of having two primary shooters covering a wedding.  I was in the next room ready to cover Leah and Jacob’s grand entrance, and Tyler was able to hang back and get this (even better) moment of them right before entering.

The band, Sellout, was seriously one of the funnest cover bands I’ve ever seen

Leah’s grandma was a huge hit on the dancefloor

perfect ending shot… I caught Leah and Jacob smoochin in the photo booth

What a great wedding to start off my work with you, Becca. And I agree, Sellout was absolutely amazing.
