Michaela and Patrick
| Posted by Becca on December 11th, 2009 | wedding lifeI think of engagement sessions as a kind of first date between me and my couples. Michaela, Patrick and I had a really really good first date. After shooting pictures for a few hours, we ended up sitting out on their back patio drinking wine as they brought out pictures of Patrick’s proposal and shared other stories. What has always struck me most about these two is their love for life and their hospitality. Both of them are so good at showing people a good time. I have never been with them, or even emailed with them without feeling uplifted. Love you guys!

Patrick surprised Michaela with two diamond filled bands instead of one. I have seen Patrick surprise and pamper Michaela over and over.
The reception was held at the magnificent Starlight Theatre, where Michaela had performed on stage many times as a dancer. Michaela preps in the dressing room before being announced
One of my favorite parts of the reception was the Dean Martin impersonator that sang during dinner
that’s amore!!
It’s an Italian tradition to have a table of homemade Italian cookies at weddings. This man tastes one of his favorites. He tells his friend, “the pink ones come from Sicily!”

Most beautiful pictures to capture the most beautiful wedding of two of the most beautiful people I know! Brought tears to my eyes again remembering the magical day!
The only time that I cried was when I saw my daughter in her gown……I had the best time. But when I saw these pictures and remember the day…..I cried again. Thank you for giving me something to remember my daughters day. It is like being there all over again and again.
