Eric & Laura | Giddy
Giddy. That is the energy that these two have for each other. They inhabit the same optimistic, playful, dream-like universe. They told me the other night that when they met, they didn’t have to explain themselves to each other. They “get” each other to a rare and beautiful degree. Eric is one of my local photographer friends whose work absolutely inspires me, so it is such an honor to get to be the one to record some pictures of these two in this momentous season of their lives. I absolutely adore you guys! You inspire me and brighten my day every time I’m around you!
My first experience with tilt shift- Eric let me try his! Fun!
As I mentioned before, these two are playful. They discovered at some point as they were dating that they both thought it was super fun to build forts. One evening, Eric constructed a red and white striped fort and it was there that he asked Laura to be his partner for life. When i heard this story I knew the engagement picture I had to make. It’s the second one down in the series.

Wow Becca! You seriously amaze me each time. You tried some new things here that totally work! I love them all! Especially the shadow one on the ground with all the lines, the shoes hanging out the bottom of the fort, and the proposal pic. I love all the lines and your unexpected framing always makes me smile. Well done!
