Brooke + Eddie | A Kansas City Wedding Film

Posted on June 20th, by Brandon Parigo in Film Life, wedding life. 4 comments

Brooke and Eddie are two of the most open individuals I’ve had the pleasure to document.  The greatness of their caring for family and friends is only rivaled by their love of one another.  I’m also a sucker for couples who met in high school and end up together years later.

The location lighting while making this film was a welcomed challenge. On one hand it was very dark, but that also made it just moody enough to be a great departure from a typical reception. It produced an abundance of negative space that made me fall in love with it, specially during the first dance.

By far my favorite thing about this wedding was Brooke and Eddie’s willingness to laugh and just be themselves. In the below video still frame Brooke breaks out in full laughter during the ceremony when Eddie begins his vows while looking at the officiant instead of her.

  3. Tyler, this keeps getting better and better! … and wait for it… I’m still crying EVERY time I view your beautiful work, the videos, and now the photos. Your narratives certainly don’t make it any easier to stay away from the tissues. Thank you for showing everyone Brooke and Eddie’s beautiful spirits.

  4. Brandon, kudos to you! Your vision is a beautiful gift. Thank you for capturing every wonderful moment through motion. Your Jay-Z choice was excellent!
